It's midmorning and the results still aren't in. I'm alone in my apartment but I can feel the tension in my country. It's in me. I am about to implode. It's on social media which I am trying to discipline myself to ignore today so that I don't drive myself crazy with worry. And then I hear a bing, a notice of a text message from a friend. She is checking in with me.

If you look at the map all of the blue states so far are either on one ocean or are contiguous to one on the ocean. I think all those periphery states should secede from the nation and join Canada. They are much nicer people
