I posted this comment on Fb and really expected lots of potential hilarious comments from my former faculty. They very kindly, sort of, disappointed me.
"I was just on a zoom call with some friends/colleagues and I indicated that some people consider me to be bossy. They laughed and wanted to know who would ever consider me to be bossy. I told them all the faculty of Springfield High School and Stroudsburg High School and the students and many of their parents, most of my friends, many of my acquaintances, my high school classmates and all of my family. Have I forgotten anyone?"

Atifa Muntaha Aziz- oh stop. She has never bossed us around. Initially we all thought that she'll be strict as we heard she was a high-school principal. However, we were proven wrong. She's extremely sweet, kind and caring. Love you,

mmm... I’m pretty sure when your job is to be the boss, you’re expected to be “bossy” 
You made me laugh out loud. I’ve had lots of “bosses” in 35 years of teaching and I feel like you were the least bossy of my bosses.

I remember some of your days at Springfield. Being older I would call it regimented not so much bossy. But back then? Definitely bossy, according to my 17 year old self

I wouldn't say your "bossy" but you are assertive. As a high school kid, I saw it as something to be challenged. But as an adult, it is a quality that I strive to emulate daily.
Bossiness is a good quality when you know what to do and want to get 'er done. Admirable when there is a vision.

When you’re the boss....
I never saw bossy, I saw a leader who worked toward goals in a collaborative manner. Accent on leader. But you always had a line in the sand where students needs must be the driving force. If you weren't doing what was best for kids and couldn't change your behavior, you might think that Bridget was bossy. It was what I respected her most for.

I have nothing but respect for you. You went out on a limb when hiring me, and I will NEVER forget the faith you placed in me. You supported me and welcomed me. There were a few decisions you made that I may not have agreed with, but I never doubted that you listened before deciding. You were clearly the best Principal I had in my 16 years at Springfield.

Danielle Marino- I didn't find you to be bossy. You expected people to perform to their highest potential. That's not bossy. I thought you were fair and open minded to your students needs on a individual basis. At least, that was how you treated me throughout my time at SHS.
