I haven't been back to this part of China since 1994. When I was here, there were very few cars on the road. Thousands and thousands of people traveled on their bicycles. Now I am told that bikes aren't even allow on the roads. Only cars can travel on these major roads. I can't image what the air pollution must be like now as it was so awful back then.
