A Road To Nowhere

I love these road that go on for hundreds of miles and seem to go nowhere. I leave a town and get on the highway and the scenery doesn't chance for the next three hours. All of the sudden, I look at the gas gauge and see that I only have 1/4 tank of gas. Normally, that wouldn't bother me. But on these roads, a mild panic sets in as it may be miles before I see another gas station again. Then I spent the next 1/2 hour being angry with myself for being so careless. I can't image how awful it would be to run out of gas and have to wait hours for AAA to come save my sorry ass.
