Mount Everest stands over 29,000 feet. Few people have climbed to the top and I am not one of them. While I admire their courage, tenacity and skill, I do not even want to hike to the base camp, let alone go up to the death zone and risk my life. So when the pilot told us to look out the window and glimpse at the view of the mountain, I was thrilled. We were flying at 32,000 feet and this is the closest I am ever going to get to this monster of a mountain and that is close enough for me.
