Breweries 2022

Breweries 2022

PA, UT, MD, DE, CO, NC, SC, VA, DE, IN, MO, AR, NJ, NV

Ironhill Brewrey- PA- (1)- I go here several times a year and the beer is always good.  But this flight on this night was particularly delicious.  I had the Russian Imperial Stout which is one of my favorites.  Then I also had the Winter Warmer and two IPAs. This was a delicious flight and I am going to go back here again just for this flight.

*Zion Brewery- UT- (2)- This brewery satisfied my goal of a brewery in every state.  I can now take Utah off my list. I was driving so I only had three samples and they were all IPAs and on the lighter side (6.2% alcohol).  They were refreshing.

Bog Turtle Brewery- MD (3)- I went to the brewery about six years ago when it first opened up as a growler fill bar only.  and it was in PA.  I loved it.  Now it is in MD and they have expanded to food and ciders and my beers today were OK and the food was lousy.  I left disappointed.

*RAR Brewery- MD (4)- the beers were good.  The coffee Vanilla Porter was delicious.

*Eastern Shore Brewery- MD (5)- I did not like the vibes of this place.  Flights are pre-determined which defeats the entire purpose of ordering a flight for me.

*JakL Brewery- DE (6)- I was the only one in the brewery so I got to chat with the bartender which is always a plus for me. My beers were delicious and just when I thought I had enough beers in front of me, he poured me a taste of their new jalipeno pepper beer.  I've tried this type of beer before and a sip is all I need to taste because I don't like to experience hot in a cold beer.  But this beer seems to have mastered the art of delivering taste without the heat.  Well done.

Conshocken Brewery- PA (7)- I've been to this brewery a few times and they consistently have good beers.

*Bill & Will's Brewery- PA (8)- This is the old McKenszie's Brewery people.  Two of these breweries are still up and running.  but they decided to reinvent themselves with this site and they made it more upscale and upgraded the food.  I wasn't thrilled with my IPAs but I liked my porter and two sours.

*Our Town Brewery- PA (9)- I had two porters, an IPA and a pale ale.  The two porters were delicious. The other beers were OK.  I liked this place.

Be Here Brewery- PA (10)- I've been here two times before and I think I had the best beers this time.  I had a pumpkin beer, a porter and two IPAs.  They were all good.

Dock Street Brewery- PA (11)- they aren't serving flights anymore and that annoys me.  So I got 10 oz pours of their tangerine IPA and a hazy winter ale.  Both of them were delicious.

St Boniface Brewery- PA (12)- I've been her before and I dont remeber being thrilled with it.  But this visit was good.  I had a coffee cream ale that was delicious, a DIPA, a hazy IPA and a pale ale.  I also had a taste of the cranberry stout which I thought I would love and it was just OK.

Locust Lane Brewery- PA-(13)- I like this place becasue it has a PSU affiliation.  I went with Sharon adn Glenn so the three of us triple teamed them on PSU stories. The beers were good.

*Liquid Mechanic Brewery- CO- 14- KT took me here becasue they were serving a marshmellow stout which she thought was delicious.

*300 Suns Brewery- CO (15) - I had a vareity of IPAs and they were good but I couldnt distinguish one from the other.

*San Luis Brewery-CO- (16) my beers were delicious.

Osckar Blues Brewery- CO-(17)  I've been here a few times and they always have some great beers.

Wibby Brewery- CO-(18)  I've been to this breaery before.  Mostly they sell lighter beers but I was able to find 4 beers that I liked.

*Rotunda Brewery- PA- (19) This brewery had good food and good beers.  They also have a variety of other beers to appeal to a larger crowd. I had an imperial stout, two milkshake IPAs and a regualr IPA.  All of them were tasty.

*Independent Republic Brewery- SC- (20) no thank you.

*Maiki Brewery- NC- (21) the beers were good but I didn't like the vibe of the place.

*Red Hare Brewery- NC- (22) I had a sour stout and a chili lager and two IPAs.  I just took a sip of the lager and didn't finish it as it packed too much heat for me.

*Grand Strand Brewery-SC- (23)- I had a mint stout that tasted like a Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie.

*New South Brewery- SC- (24)- I only had a coffee porter here and it was delicious.

*Smart Mouth Brewery-VA- (25)-  I took home a six pack of thier Game On IPA.

Dewey Brewery- DE- (26)- This place is really stretching itslef with their sour beers.  I had a blueberry, blackberry, raspberry sour and it tasted like a smoothy.

*Bill's Best Brewery- PA- (27)- I liked this place and these beers.  I had a winter ale, a DIPA and two IPAs.

*Well Crafted Brewery- PA- (28)- I had a delicious DIPA and an Imperial Stout (10.7%) and two IPAs.

*New District Brewing Company- VA (29)- I liked this brewery.  The staff is committed to your enjoyment of their beerss.

Full Tilt Brewery- MD- (30)- I've been here before so I tried some new beers.  They are experimenting with added fruit flavors in thier IPAs and these beers were refreshing and too easy to drink.

Suburban Brewey-PA- (31)- poor service, beers were OK.

*The Way Brewery- PA- (32)- My Russian Imperial Stout and my Hazy IPA were delicious.  The other two beers were mediocre.

*Public House- MO- (33)- This was a fun place to visit and the beers were delicious. I took a 4 pack home with me. I ordered a flight and I liked all of my beers.  Then the bartender realized that he screwed up my original order so me gave me a taste of one of their stouts.  Then he gave me a taste of the beer master's speciality beer.  Then he had me try out a cucumber pilsner. I liked all of my beers.

*Bike Rack Brewery- (34)- AR- the beers were just OK

*Eureka Springs Brewery- (35)- AR- the beers were just OK.  There were two beers that I really wanted to try but they were out of this option so I drank beers that didnt really interest me.

*Turkey Springs Brewing Company- (36)- MO- every beer was delicious and the staff was great.

*Terre Haute Brewery- (37)- IN- the beers were delicious.  I took two 4 packs home with me and a brew master gave me a pint to take with me.

Attic Brewery-(40) PAI’ve been here before, the place had just open up. But today, this place has established a vibe that’s fun. I ordered a flight of hazy IPAs and I can’t distinguish one from another. They are all refreshing.

Sly Fox- (41) - PA- Ive been here before and really liked thier beers.  This visit was not as impressive.  I did, however, have the Alex Lemonade Ale and it was delcious.  There wasnt a hint of a beer taste but I could have guzzled this drink all damn day.
