P

P

Some of my thoughts and memories and other things on my little pee-brain mind:

  • Patricia- my youngest sister
  • Philadelphia- my home town
  • Penn State- I have three degrees from PSU- BS, MEd, DEd
  • Pennsylvania- my great state.
  • Penguins- Antarctic- 2007- I took 1,000,000 photos of these crazy birds.
  • Pittsburgh- a great city to visit.
  • Pinball machines- I love to play pinball.  I used to work in an amusement arcade.
  • Pastrami sandwich- there is nothing like a nice, hot pastrami sandwich.
  • Pelicans- I take lots of photos of these birds when I am in Florida.
  • Pho soup- comfort food.
  • People Magazine- I used to be a faithful reader and I knew everything about pop culture.  I had the first edition of the magazine from 1973-  Mia Farrow was on the cover, highlighting the new Great Gatsby movie.  Now, I never read this magazine and I know nothing about pop culture.
  • Panama- I've been there twice.  It's a sweet, little country.
  • Panama Canal- I passed through the canal in 2011.
  • Peter Hall, Sias University, China- 2012 and 2015- I lived there for a while.
  • Pam- my cousin on my mother's side.
  • Pacific Ocean- why is this ocean so damn cold?  You cant swim in it.
  • Pinnacle- we played this card game with my grandparents for hours at a time, all the time.
  • Peanut butter and jelly on wheat bread- what my mother made us for lunch when we stayed for lunch in grade school. I hate this sandwich.
  • Pot Cookies- my friend gives me these cookies to help me sleep.  They give me very intense dreams.
  • Portland, Oregon- I flew in to Portland and got in a car and drove that whole, beautiful coast.
  • Point and Shoot Cameras- I have seven of them.
  • Photography- I take a lot of photos.
  • Providence Road- I lived at 1149 Providence Road in Springfield, PA from 1999 to 2012.
  • Pope John XXIII- this is the first pope that I remember.
  • Pope Paul IV- a priest once gave me a blue Madonna medal that was blessed by this pope.  I loved that medal.
  • Pope Jahn Paul I- I think he lasted six days. No one ever talks about him.
  • Pope John Paul II- this guy was a breathe of fresh air when he came in to power.
  • Pope Benedict- I wasn't a fan of his.
  • Pope Francis- he is my favorite pope.
  • Paper cups- I don't like to drink out of them.  I can taste the paper.
  • Peter Pan- I love movies about Peter Pan. My favorite is Hook.  I love when Wendy says to Peter, "Why Peter, you have become a pirate."
  • Pulling the fire alarm-- In my 20 years as a high school principal, I bet I pulled that damn fire alarm 100 times or more.  And I never pulled that alarm without some sense of rush.  I would always approach the handle with in trepidation and excitement.  It was always a little bit of a cheap thrill. Pulling this little handle filled me with power.
  • Pauliner's Brewery- Munich, Germany- Someone gave me a $200 gift certificate to this place.  I took six people to dinner with plenty of drinks and we couldn't use the entire certificate.
  • Peabody Brewery- MD- a nice, quiet place tucked away in Baltimore.
  • Philadelphia Brewery- PA- I am sorry to say but I did not like the vibe of this tasting room/
  • Pineland Brewery- NJ- they brew beers using local fruits and vegetable. I had a delicious squash beer.
  • Prayer- I don't pray.
  • Prime Rib- I like it as rare as possible.
  • Prince Charles- for awhile I had contemplated getting his portrait tattoos on my reading.  I didn't and I don't know why I entertained this thought.
  • Pulpit Rock Brewery- IO- they have good beers.
  • Peddler's Brewery- WA- this is a very family friendly brewery.  Bring your kids.
