I've been here four times
- Grand Old Opry House
- Beale Street
- Gatlinburg
- Knoxville
- Nashville
- Chattanooga
- Visited in 1995, 1997, 2010, 2018
- Dollywood- I just wandered around the amusement park.
- Graceland- we took the platinum tour and got in to the Jungle Room.
- Civil Rights Museum- this is where Martin Luther King was murdered. And this museum is haunting and magnificent.
- Visit with Judy Landry- 1995
- Road trip with Jameson- we traveled through in 2010, on our way to Arkansas.
- Road trip with Teresa- we went to see Graceland after Charles Kurat died in 1997.
- Nashville- Home of Country Music
- Country Music Museum in Nashville
- Memphis- Home of the Blues.
- Standing on the border of TN and SC
- Walking on the Appalachian Trail.
- Chattanooga Art Museum- a great place to see American Folk Art.
- Listening to an old man play the clarinet on a Sunday afternoon on Beale Street. He played alone and most people just walked passed him, not acknowledging his talent.
- Sitting with my niece in a bar and listening to a large woman sing covers of Janis Joplin. That woman sang with a soulful, soulful voice.
- BBQ ribs. I paid $7 and the woman gave me a pile of meat. I think I had half a cow on my plate. Both Jameson and I ate off that plate and we had to throw too much of it out as we were just passing through and coolant take it with us.
- Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Theatre. It was filled with cowboys, horses, bulls, buffaloes, doves, pigs, clowns and Americana extravaganza. And we were served dinner that we ate with our fingers. No utensils were given to us.
- Hanging in Gatlinburg with friends- 2018.
- Smokey Mountain Brewery
- Old Forge Distillery
- Sitting in the music store and listening to someone play the dulcimer, another man play the guitar and a woman lead all of us in singing Amazing Grace.
