A note from a teacher

August 18, 2025

From time to time, I hear from teachers I have worked with when they retire.  I received this message today on FaceBook:

HER:  Hello Dr. Kelly. I am not sure if you remember me. You hired me at Stroudsburg High School in 1994 for a special education teacher position. At the time, my name was Jane Rhule.

It was the start of a 30 year career in Stroudsburg. I retired last year. There were many changes in Stroudsburg throughout the years, but I fondly remember how it all started. Thank you for selecting me for the position. I had the privilege of teaching so many students. I hope that you are doing well. Jane London

ME: Yes Jane, I remember you. How great that you have had such a fulfillling career. It was my good fortune to have broght you to Stroudsbueg. Now enjoy your retirement.

Yes Jane. I remember you. How great that you have had such a fulfilling career. It was my good fortune to have brought you to Stroudsburg. Now, enjoy your retirement.
