My 50th State

November 26- December 5, 2024

• I booked this trip as a last minute trip to get me out of my post election funk. 
• I got a great deal on this trip.
• Of course, I visited a brewery. the Ola Brrewery offer an expensive flight of IPAs. They were colorful but they all tasted the same to me.hawaii is expensive. 
• I took a lot of Uber rides on this trip. 
• I went to a lua and ate some great fish. 
• The submarine fish tour was interesting. We got down to 109 feet. 
• I attended a very interesting talk on mountain sledding. Men used to take a long, narrow sled and slide down the mountain. It was often a do or die situation. It was a sign of manliness. 
• I don’t like Hawai. I doubt I will go back there.
