Beer Fact #42

 "Many civilizations of antiquity and Medieval times relied heavily upon beer as the safest available drink, due to poor water quality".

When I was in Haiti, I ran a medical clinic with volunteer doctors from the USA. I encouraged them to drink the beer rather than the possible/probable water because I thought is was cleaner and we knew, when we flipped the bottle top off, it was a purified beverage.
