To Myrtle Beach and Back

• 
  This trip got on my nerves.
• I don't like Myrtle Beach.  I didn't like it 20 years ago when I went there and I didn't like this time either. I think I will never go back to Myrtle Beach again.
• I got talked in to staying at a resort for 3 nights and four days and then had to listen to a 2 hour time share presentation.
  
• The time share cost $106,000 and has a monthly fee and an option to borrow money to pay for it at 17%.  Are they fucking kidding?
• The balcony to my hotel looked out to the main street and a parking lot.  I had anticipated a beach balcony view and could hardly wait to just sit there, read, write  drink beer and listen to the ocean waves.  Instead, I got honking horns and swearing pedestrians.
• Someone on the floor above me hung a Confederate flag on his balcony.
• The weather was a little cloudy but in the mid-60s so that was a comfort.
• The outside pool was just a little too chilly to go in but I could get in to the hot tub.  But the hot tub had a cement seat all around it so I had to sit and half of my torso was exposed to the chilly air.  And it was really cold when I got out.  It made me cranky.
• I visited 7 breweries during this short visit.
• I found an IBA (Interesting Bird Area) and didn't find anything unusual fro me but I did get to see lots of birds.
• People in the South love their porches and they spend all hours of the day just sitting on them no matter how small or beaten up their house is.
• I stayed in a beachfront hotel with a very large balcony in VA Beach and loved it.  Unfortunately, I went out for a flight of beer and then found a bar that
• One the way home, I got stuck behind a Tyson chicken truck. It was filled with hundreds of chickens and I think many of them were already dead.  It smelled just awful.  Maybe I should be a vegan.
