In 2014, I ran for state senate in Maryland.  I didn't make it but i enjoyed the ride. Here is a message from my website:

A Message to Retired Voters

Now that I am retired, I see things differently. I have different priorities.
As a retired voter, I support:
• Socially focused but fiscally responsible programs;
• Financial security for all Americans;
• Affordable and accessible health care;
• Healthy economic and educational systems.

Like you, I vote because it is the responsible thing to do. I believe every vote counts and our voice matters. Decisions should be made in the best interest for everybody not just for some.
