West Chester, PA

August 1- West Chester, PA – I spent the day doing nothing at my apartment. I have no energy and no excuse for this low energy.
August 2- Carpenters’ Point, MD -had dinner with Betty and John. It’s always nice to see them. It seems as if John has turned it around with his cancer. He's regained 30 pounds and looks healthy.
August 3- went to the Bryn Mawr Film Institute with Leslie Grams to see Lost in Paris. It was a fun, quirky movie. I love to go to the movies.
August 4- Philadelphia -went to the WXPN Radio Free at Noon Concert with my new friends Gary and Sherry. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon.
August 5- West Chester-finally went to the local farmers market and it is overrated. I’m not going back there. It was boring.
August 6-  West Chester-it’s been a lovely lazy day at Chestnut Square.
August 7- Carpenters Point, MD -went to my house and it felt great to soak in the hot tub all afternoon. I could sit in that tub all day.
August 8- Carpenters Point, MD -an afternoon of gardening. I had to weed whack the lawn because I don’t have a lawnmower anymore. And I am not buying a new one.

August 12-West Chester, PA-there was a big bike race in town today. I had VIP tickets that my new friends, Gary and Sherry, gave me. It was thrilling to watch the women’s race. I love my new town.
August 13- West Chester, PA -spent the day on social media. There’s lots of coverage about the Nazis and the KKK. What has become of us!!
August 14- West Chester, PA -went to the Uptown Theater to watch To Sir with Love, an old 60’s classic.  Left as a member and a volunteer for this new theater. I like the vibes of this little theatre.
August 15-Philadelphia- went to a concert at the world café with Bill McRae.
August 16- Carpenters Point, MD - yet another library meeting. Then spent the rest of the day hanging out in my beloved hot tub. I should have spent some time gardening but , oh well.
August 17- Carpenters Point, MD -dinner with Joanne at Steak & Main in North East, MD.  We eat and drink too much when we are together.
August 18-West Chester- a rainy day curtailed my walking today. But that is really no excuse because I have a fitness center right in my apartment complex which I never use.
August 19- Delaware- sat Shiva with Lynn Shapiro. Her old dad finally died.
August 20-  West Chester-watched multiple YouTube videos on how to make an eclipse box. I like my box. Let’s see if it works.
August 21-West Chester, PA -spent the afternoon with thousands of people watching the eclipse of the sun. It was a thrilling moment which was followed by ushering at the Uptown Theater for the movie Airplane, which is completely ridiculous movie. “Don’t call be Shirley.”
August 22- Carpenters Point, MD -yet another library meeting and a halfhearted attempt at cleaning the house. I really have to get rid of what is left in my house.  I have to unload this house.
August 23- Bryn Mawr, PA -dinner with Kathy Flatley. I gave her one of my mother’s watercolor paintings. We’ve been friends for 55 years.

August 28- Carpenters Point, MD- made my way to Maryland just to sit in my beloved hot tub.
August 29- Carpenters Point, MD- I had lunch at Johnny Sushi House with Joanne.
