January 1- Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge- in search of thousands of snow geese

January 2- PSU Football Championship game; we lost but it was still a good game.

January 3- Library meeting

January 4- headed to Long Beach Island, NJ for the weekend visit with Jane Momer, my high school friend. 

January 5- a big snow storm at the beach.  This is most unusual.

January 6- took a felting class at the Long Beach Island Art Foundation

January 7- went birding but didn’t see much.

January 12- Women’s Investment Club; we made $11,000 last month.

January 13- Dinner with Tricia and Bill.

January 14- started to do some apartment hunting in West Chester, PA.  I've got to move and get out from under my house and all of its responsibilities.

January 18- spent the day in Washington, DC with my Chinese students.  Went to Trump’s celebration event and it was boring.

January 19- Movie: Hidden Figures.  What an inspiration!

January 20- The Women’s March in DC and around the world. OMG, it was great!!! Over 250,000 of us hit the streets. I needed this moment.

January 21- slept all damn day; the wonderful March exhausted me.

January 22- Apple Photo Class.  I really use my phone to make phone calls anymore.

January 23- Movie: Patriot’s Day- a tough movie to watch.

January 25- dinner with my Haiti friends

January 26- booked my trip to go cross country on the train (Feb12-15). Can’t wait.

January 27- theatre: Sierra Leone Refuge Act-I've wanted to see this band for a long time.- Philadelphia

January 28- Immigration Protest @ PHL airport.  The protesters were afraid.  I never thought I would see this much fear in my country.

January 30- Dinner with Jen Hogan and her daughter who is on the boys’ wrestling team

January 31- two breweries today: Half Moon Brewery and Bog Turtle Brewery.  Both in Oxford, PA
