2017 Brewery of the Year

I visited 39 breweries this year and so many of them offered great beers, fun ambience and enjoyable food options. But this brewery stands out because of its farm to brewery philosophy. Many of the local fruits from the farms of New Jersey are used to make their seasonal beers. This brewery is committed to making an impact on sustainability and I haven't seen that effort with any other brewery.
This brewery has a butternut squash beer as an alternative to pumpkin beer and it is delicious. I also loved the vanilla porter. There was a nitro coconut beer that was tasty but could be dangerous to drink because it went down so smoothly. I could consume too many of these beers on a hot summer afternoon.
