This water buffalo wandered away from the pack and died a slow death. He has spent so much time int eh sun that his hind is naturally leathered. He has been here for years and appears to be going nowhere. My safari drivers told me that this animal is now used as a land mark given as a way fro guides to orient themselves and their location.
