I tried my hardest to be part of this historic moment. I applied to be a delegate for Hillary but I didn't make it on the ballot. So I applied to serve as a volunteer. I wanted to work on the social media team. But no such team existed fro volunteers. Nothing was going to be left to chance. I could volunteer to stand day in the heat or at the train station, sporting a blue tee shirt that offers, "ASK ME!!". I didn't want to do that.
But I did get invited to two events that got me in to the fringe of the event and that was exciting. I did spend an afternoon wandering around the protesters and loving every minute of it. Everyone had very strong opinions.
