Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge
Symra, DE
September 2025
I drove down here from Philly in September and realized I had never been here in the late summer. Usually I come during the winter months to watch the snow geese immigration. But there was a spoonbill who was off course and hanging here for the last few days. So I went looking for him and found him and was so thrilled. But i also saw lush vegetation, hundreds of egrets and herons and ibis. What a great day.
