It's 9AM and I am at Pep Boys getting my June car inspection done. The experience is unpleasant. But my car passed inspection without having to do any extra repair. So this is a plus moment.
I visited my 392nd brewery today, Truth Beer Company (1). I liked this place and the bartender asked me what I was going to do to celebrate my 400th brewery. I hadn't thought of it as a moment to celebrate but that's not a bad idea.

I went to the movies @BMFI with Leslie today to see Janet Planet. I'm not sure if I liked it or not. But I like going to the movies with Leslie so it was OK.
Afterwards, we went to Bar Avalon next door and I had the most delicious dinner and there was enough to take home fro a second dinner. We talked politics and we talked ourselves in to depression. This election hangs heavy on just about everyone in the country. Both sides think they are thinking the other side hates democracy. And we have become so polarized that its palatable.

In the evening, I met up with Walt, Karen, Fonda and Sid and we had dinner at Azie, a sushi place. I had the Kobe beef which was $20/ounce. I had three ounces and then I also got the appetizer that serves Kobe strips on a hot stone. That was $20. and I had two beers that were $10/each. My bill was over $100 and now I am over my fascination with Kobe beef.

It's Independence Day so I went to Tricia's house for a barbecue and then afterwards, we went to watch fireworks. I never tire of watching fireworks.

It is so fucking hot.
My exercise session wore me out today. I had to go home and take a little nap.
I went shopping for my party and I bought too, too much stuff. And I know I am going to continue to buy stuff so that I have enough even though I know I have enough right now.

It's too fucking hot today. I don't even want to go outside at all. My apartment is too hot. Even with the fan directly on me, on the balcony, I am too hot and I am miserable.

It was another fucking hot day today.
Sally and I met up at the Stolen Sun Brewery (2). I love, love, love to sit in a bar all afternoon, drink beer and hang with friends. I could do this every day of my life.

I woke up and it was hot and I was miserable.
So I drove to West Deptford, NJ to buy THC gummies. this is the first time I have been in a cannibis dispensary and I was nervous. But all went well as I received a 3% senior discount and a birthday discount. I saved $19. And that made me so happy.
As I was leaving NJ, I stopped at the Eclipse Brewery (3) in Merchantsville and loved the place. It's in a beautiful setting and it is small and friendly and the beers were delicious and a flight was reasonable. I had a DIPA, a coffee ale, a peach sour and a pale ale. The brewmaster suggested I come back with the Hazy IPA is on tap and he said his Pumpkin Ale is also great. So maybe I will go back in the fall.
I stopped by Sharon's house to give her a bag of the gummies. I felt like a drug dealer.

It's my birthday. I am 69 fucking years old today. That is really old. How did this happen to me? I'm still in my early adults years.
For lunch, I met Bill and Mark at the Bier Haul in Thornton to discuss the sate of affairs with the fucking election. I am exhausted by the state of our country. I can't believe that Trump has a possibility of actually winning in November. I could vomit.
GiGi and Jackie sent me an adorable bday video. And then Elliot and Peter sent me a video. I listened to them again and again. I love those sweet voices.
In the evening, I went to the Bier Haul in West Chester with some of my friends from CS. I drank for 8 hours today and made it home without incident and hangover. Life is good.

I didn't wake up with a hangover so I felt very lucky.
The Indiana Fevers played today and they lost. And I am becoming disappointed when my team losses.
Rich stopped by the lounge to tell me that he is giving up on politics. He has had enough of the angst of the presidential race. I, too, am exhausted but I can't surrender. I can't sit back and let Trump back in.

It is so fucking hot again today.
In the evening, Lauren, Mike and I went to a concert at Rosetree Park. Because of the heat, it was poorly attended but for some reason, the heat subsided for a bit and there was a gentle breeze and the air was finally comfortable after days of this oppressive heat.
And the band was fantastic. They were a 7 piece band with lots of sound and variety in this musical selection.
After the concert, we met up at Rita's water ice and had gelatis. This was a spectacular summer night.

It's prolia day. I got my 6 month shot without incident.
In the afternoon, I went to my exercising session and then I waddled home, hot, tired, limping and complaining. I had to take a nap becasue I was so damn tired from my work out.
It was really hot so I finally got to the pool in the afternoon. The water was just warm enough not to be cold but cool enough to be refreshing.
I sent Gigi a birthday video. She sent me one for my birthday is I sent her one for her 4th birthday. I hope my video doesn't give her nightmares.
In the evening, I had a phone discussion with Jaye about Biden and we both got ourselves worked up over our conversation.
I'm having lots of hip pain which may be a side effect of my prolia shot.
I had a gig at Uptown and the guy was great. Adam Gross is a comedian, a magician and a vantrilogist. And he was so damn funny and clever. I wished I had had Elliot with me becasue he would have loved it.
There were two TVs in the trash so I trash picked them and gave them to Kim, our evening security guard.

OMG, it was so fucking hot today. So it was mostly a wasted day. It was even too hot to sit by the pool. The air was just dense and oppressive.
I did some food shopping but got home as soon as I could so that I wouldn't melt.
When I got home, I organized my car. I had so much stuff in there for my party that things were piling up and up.
When I went to the lounge to work on my laptop, two breaking stories hit the news.
(1) Richard Simmons died.
(2) The orange idiot is shot during one of his rallies. The shooter was killed instantly and it turns out that he is a young republican. The idiot strived with just a minor wound and while i dont promote assignations, I cant deny that I cant wait until this deplorable human being goes away.

It really rained today. We need the rain. It's been so hot for so many days that everything is dried up. And so it poured for heavily for about an hour.

OMG, it was hot today!!!
I went to the dentist and it didn't cost me anything. They want to put a new cap on my tooth but I am fine with the existing cap. So I am going to ignore their suggestion until it becomes a bigger, more serious, more expensive problem.
Afterwards I went to get a haircut. The beautician thinks I have thyroid problems becasue my hair is falling out so much. I came home and looked up the symptoms: fatigue, weight gain, lazy ass, etc. That sounds like me but there was no mention of any hair loss. So maybe I will ignore that as well.
Trump announced his VP candidate: DJ Vance, a senator who denounced Trump in 2016 and called him unfit for office. What a whore.

OMG, it was hot today. But then a storm rolled in and it got windy and we had a blackout for about 2 hours.

I had an exercise session and I was so damn tired when I finished.
In the evening, I went to an outdoor concert with Tricia to listen to a cover band of 1980s music. I love to go to outdoor concerts.

I finally took a road trip. I have just become so lazy so I got in my car and headed to central PA to go to some breweries.
My first stop was the Liquid Noise Brewery (4) - Perry County
After I checked in to a hotel I made my way back to Selingsgrove to have dinner and beers at the Axemann Brewery (5)- Snyder County

After I left my hotel I headed to the Pineknotter Brewery- (6) PA- Northumberland County
Then I went to Turkey Hill Brewery- (7) PA- Columbia County and didn't like the place at all.
I had a zoom call to China. It looks as if we will never er go back to SIAS University.
Twitter: No doctor has released a report about the orange idiot's ear injury but he has. Apparently most of the ear was blown off but his doctors said they have never seen an ear heal so quickly and it completely grew back already. He isn't wearing the MaxiPad anymore. It's a miracle.

I like up to the news that Biden withdrew from the campaign and I am filled with sadness. I wanted to vote from him again and I wanted him to beat the orange idiot again and I wanted to humiliate the orange idiot.

I struggled to get out of bed. This damn election is killing me.
Harris raised $50M yesterday. She is on fire and the whole fucking country is responding. Her support has become explosive.
But I am feeling better today as I watch the momentum around Harris for POTUS. There seems to be an optimism we haven't seen in awhile.

It's Colonoscopy Day. I had to be awaken during the procedure because my breathing and sleep apnea became a problem. That was uncomfortable and embarrassing.
Sharon held a Great Dames pitch meeting. Six non-profits pitched for a $25,000 package. All of the presenters had great programs.

I had my exercise class today with a different trainer. And he, of course, kicked my ass. I could barely wobble home.
Tuesday was National Ice Cream Day so we had a celebration here today with Rita's water ice.
In the evening, Biden addressed the nation on why he was stepping down and it was just too sad to listen to him. He's receiving high praises for his patriotism.

I went and got my beer for my family party and I went a little overboard on this assignment. I have 11 different breweries and 130 cans of beer. That should satisfy the 20 beer drinkers. I have a shitload of beer.
In the evening, Kevin made a batch of margaritas and I organized the crowd. About ten of us showed up and it was a fun time. Judy showed up with an Irish Cream Stout that she didn't like and I thought was delicious. So she went up to her apartment and got two more beers.

I washed the dishes in my sink which is always a huge effort for me. I read something this week about people who do not take care of themselves. Leaving a sink full of dishes is one sign of self care neglect. I need to work on this aspect because I am too dysfunctional.
A group of us watched the opening ceremony for the summer Olympics. It was a little too long but a spectacular show.

Sally and Stacy took me out to lunch for my birthday. We went to BierHaul and I had four delicious IPAs and a delicious Rueben sandwich. I should have gone right home after that. But I didn't. We went over to Serum Restaurant in hopes of hanging out on the new rooftop porch. We got a table but it was so damn hot that we had to come back inside. I met up with them at 2PM and didn't get hime until 730 and I was worn out. I had to take a nap but I had to get up after a few hours so I could get to the fitness center. I haven't made my steps goals for the last two days.

I decided to have a low key day since I spent all day, drinking in the bars. I do go to do some shopping just tot get me out of the house but I didn't buy much.
I also went through some of my stuff. I am going to have a yard sale during my party and I am going to use this time to pawn off some of my junk to my nieces and nephews.

I had thought about going to a brewery or a movie today but then I started focusing on my party on Saturday. I took inventory of everything I have purchased to date and I have plenty of everything. Bring it on!
Kevin and Joanna stopped by the lounge to go over what I needed for Saturday. I am so grateful for their help as I could use it. Kevin is going to get the coolers and make sure all of my beer is as cold as possible.
Joanna is going to go some prep work and help throughout the day. So now I am ready to go.

I was looking at my brewery options in Berks County and found a brewery, Spring House Brewery. When I went on the website, the photos looked familiar to me and I had the exact photo of the brewery's facade. But this brewery never made it to my cumulative list So I added it and now I am up to 399 breweries. And then I found a new brewery in Philly, The Fat Lady Brewery and it just seemed right that this brewery should be brewery 400. So I asked Sharon if she wanted to join me but she couldnt. She suggested I call Glenn. But I didnt. I was going to call Sally or Stacey to see if they wanted to join me. But I didnt. And I thought of Kathi Lewis since it's near her home. Bit I didnt call her either. I decided to wait and do this moment with a bit more flair. But I am going to wait until after the family party on Saturday.
Instead I went to the movies @BMFI to see The Widow of CLICQUOT.
I raced home to be on a zoom call with Kamala Harris. I don't know what I expected but it didn't thrill me. There were thousands of other people on the call and a few guest speakers but not enough Kamala

I had a stretching session and I was surprised at how good it felt to be stretched.
I got the pathology report back from my colonoscopy. My polyp was pre-cancerous so I have to go back in another three years to be probed again. Cant wait.
