A Year in Review- 2024

2024

 A Year In PHOTO Review

January

We had our first snow storm in 2 years and it was fun to be in the moment of this wonderment.  And then I got tired of it.

February

Brian, Cindy and I went to the Presidents' Heads museum in Williamsburg, VA.  It was so interesting and creepy at the same time.

March

I spent a week in Zurich, Switzerland

April

There was a solar eclipse on April 8.  I drove to upstate New York to be in the path of darkness.

May

I had dinner with my high school friends. It's been over 50+ years and we are still talking to each other.

June

The Rolling Stones Concert, June 11 @ the Linc in Philly. You cant always get what you want but if you try real hard you get what you need.,

July

I spent much of this month getting ready for my family's Christmas In July party in August.  Of all the things I had to get for the party, I was most confident in buying the beer.  But I have to admit, I went overboard with this assignment.

August

Our yearly family Christmas in July(ish) party. A lot of us showed up but not enough of us.

September

I went to Rwanda to see the silverback gorillas. I have wanted to do this trip for 20 years but never had the courage or confidence to do so. But one day, I made up my mind to sign up fro the trip and just do it.  i started with a personal trainer in May and went once a week and then I went to a stretch coach for two months prior and I was in the best physical conditions I have been in years.

October

I flew to see the one and only Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl in LA. My good friend, Sam, joined me there and I loved every damn minute of the concert. She played from 6:30 to 10PM. Brandi Carlisle, Elton John, Annie Lenox, John Baptiste, Ann Wilson, Lisa and Wendy, Mark Mumford and others joined her on stage.

November

I went to Hawaii, my 50th and final state to visit. I didnt really like this trip and I dont think I will return to Hawaii. It was too commercial and expensive.

December

A star is born: N&N, the next generation, # 12.
