I went to DC for the day to look at the aftermath of the demonstrations and conflict between Trump and the BLM protesters. There were signs of rioting and rage. The White House was barracked and off limits to all of us. Police were everywhere, on foot, on horses, on bikes. It felt like I was in a police state.
