The NJ Governor was involved in a scandal where his aide, Bridget Kelly, closed down a bridge to retaliate against a political opponent. It caused a huge traffic jam and a woman in an ambulance died because she couldn't get to the hospital in a timely manner. So, this story was in the news for weeks. My former students found this to be hilarious.
