Wyoming
2005- My father had just died a few weeks prior and my mother had died 7 years before. So now I was really an orphan. I was 49 and had planned this trip months before my dad died. But it was still a hard decision to go on this trip. I was out of sorts. But I went and I stayed in jackson Hole at a hotel with an outdoor hot tub. It was snowing and the hot tub was a great treat on a chilly March evening.
2021- We had planned on going to Utah for the week. But the temperatures were stuck on the low 100s. So we quickly changed plans and went to Wyoming instead. And what a great alternative. The air was cooler. The scenery was beautiful. We found a bar that had a country line dancing event. We went to a small town rodeo. We went to a few good breweries. We didn't go to Yellowstone as it was just too damn crowded. And I left with the thought that there was more for me to discover.
