• Humans all over the world consume 50 billion gallons of beer each year. 

Would it be a sign of my obsessive/complusive behavior if I started keeping a tally of how much beer I drink in a year? 

I am going to guess that I drink three pints a week which would be 156 pints in a year which is really not much in the entire scheme of things. That is only 20.5 gallons a year.

If someone drinks a six pack a day that would be 72 ounces which would be 504 ounces/week which would be 26,208 ounces a year. That would be 204+ gallons a year. That's a lot of beer.
