2004

I came here for a spring break trip.  I flew in to Santa Fe, rented a car, , went to 10,000 Waves and soaked in the hot water as the sun was setting. spent the day at a hot springs retreat, drove up to Taos and wandered around there. Was asked at every meal, "you want green peppers, red peeres or christmas."

2019

We were jusst arriving in Santa Fe and I bit dowm on a piece of popcorn and cracked a tooth right up the middle. OMG, it hurt like hell.  It felt as if my tooth had been hit by an electric bolt. And that set the tone for this trip. I was in pain for the rest of the trip.

I bought a beautiful black wool coat and several dressy tops.  And then I had to mail my junk clothes home becasue I didn't have enough room in my back pack for everything.

2021

I was on the road, driving Route 66 from Chicago, Il  to Santa Monica, CA.  Two days earlier, I took a bad fall in OK.  I landed right on my forehead and did some damage. So, I spent my day in NM in the emergency room of the hospital.  I was checked for a heart attack,  broken bones, and a concussion. I didnt have any of these maladies and after 7 hours, I was relaeased.  I got in my car and drove out of NM.
