Tina graduated from SIAS almost two years ago. She worked for the university for awhile where she lived on campus, in the dorms, with the other recent graduates who stayed. She received a very minimal salary, even by Chinese standards. But as soon as she could, she made a very generous donation to the World Academy for the Future of Women. As she told us, "If it wasn't for the Academy, I would be back, working on my family farm." She told us she wished she could have given us even more.
Well, she is now in Kansas at Fort Hayes University in a graduate program and loving it. Here is her Facebook post for today:
