Gloria is one of my meany former students from China.  Form time to time, I teach leadership skills to college women in China.  And they are wonderful.  They are so interested in maintaining relationships.  I love hearing form them.

Hi Bridget,

It's been long since last contact, and I really miss you! How are you? 

I'm currently enjoying the Spring Festival which is like Christmas Day in America. We have a family reunion. Soon I'll be leaving for the next semester. 

I'm desperate to know more about your current life!

TO GLORIA:    

Happy, Happy New Year and enjoy the Year of the Snake. Do you ever go on Facebook any more? I want to post some pictures of you. 

I got to see Gabriella a few weeks ago. She was in the area and we got to spend the evening together. I have talked to Selia. She is a little homesick now. I may travel out to California to see her.

By now, you are probably studying for a big English test. I think you take it in the spring.

I just got back from key West, Florida which the southernmost tip of the country. It is warm and sunny and just beautiful. It was wonderful. Now I am taking classes so I am keeping myself busy. 

I have a trip to northern Europe in May so it does not look as if I will make it to graduation this year. Maybe next year.

GLORIA”S RESPONSE:   

I did log in Facebook several times, not often. But I’d love to see pictures of you and me. I had searched and found no pictures of us. Oh, you tried to send us CDs. Forget it~

Gabriella told me she had a very good time there and every day is new and exciting! I happened to talk with Selia the other day. She started her work which goes quite well. She told me she will attend an English Writing course next week! I’m happy for she gets such a great opportunity! 

Seniors will take an English test in the spring, while I’m a junior. Actually I’m not going to take English tests next semester, because my schedule is so full. I will take two extra courses which involve two projects, so I plan to take a GMAT around December. Plus, I’ve taken 3 English tests last year. 

Are you still taking economic classes? I started to learn business in the past semester and I think I love it and love to know more about it! However, our Business English program is a little weak in regarding business. Thanks to our Academy, I learnt more from our facilitators! As well, the courses I choose to take next year will help me to accumulate knowledge and practice of business. I hope I can squeeze into the line to get the elective courses when the system opens to students. 

This May will be a sad month without you. You know how much we miss you…

Will we never have the chance to see each other again? I’m deeply regretful for I didn’t know how to cherish the present when you were here.
