Hi Dr. Kelly. Wanted to wish you a very happy birthday! I also wanted to thank you for your guidance and leadership as a student at Stroudsburg. Having now taught at Pleasant Valley for 13 years and God willing, earning my doctorate in education next month, I can certainly understand and respect the efforts - to a certain degree - that you put forth to earning your doctorate and working in education. Much thanks to you! If you will, please send some positive energy and prayers to my successful completion of my doctorate next month. My Supervising Professor is wonderful, but every little bit of help counts! Have an awesome birthday!

Jim, you will do fine. As a high school kid, you were always prepared and met your responsibilities. No doubt, your work ethic has only gotten stronger over the years. So I am confident that we will all be calling you Dr. Shoopack next month (can’t wait). If, however, you would like to do a practice run of your defense, I’d be happy to sit and listen. Best wishes.
