2004
I flew to Myrle Beach for my spring break. I think I was there for 4 long days. I got a hotel somewhere near the ocean and spent most of my time on that dreadful boardwalk. Most of the stores were filled with offensive tee shirt and underwaer shops that advertized white trash humor. Mostly, I went from one bar to another and had a beer. And I decided that I probably would never come here again.
2021
I just drove through here on my way to see freinds in Florida. But I did stop at a brewery along the way so that I could meet my goal of a brewery in every state. I went to Southern Hops Brewery and really liked it.
2022
I got talked in to coming to Myrtle Beach for 3 nights and 4 days for free if I was willing to listen to a time share presentation. I dont know what possessed me to agree to do this. But I said yes and, again, I did not like Myrlte Beach. And to make matters worse, I was really in North Myrtle Beach which is 20 minutes north and with nothing to do. It was too cold to sit on the beach. The hotel pool wasnt heated and teh hot tub wasnt hot enough. My balcony overlooked a parking lot. There were few ameniteis in the hotel and I couldnt wait to leave.
And then I had to go to my time share preesntation and they wanted me to buy a $106,000 time share for a 20 night/yearly offer. I just about laughed in thier faces when they told me the price. And they were annoyed with me when I turned down this ridiculous offer.
I went to Independent Republic Brewery, New South Brewery and Grand Strand Brewery
