Some of my thoughts and memories and things:

Muhammad of the desert
  • Montana- this certainly is the Big Sky state.
  • Michigan- 1980- I went to a Women's Music Festival in Champlain.
  • Missouri- 1998- I went to Branson for a long weekend with my dad and sister.  that place is squeaky wholesome.
  • Minnesota- 2018- I was there during a blizzard so I didn't get to see much.
  • Maine- I spent three days on wooden sail boat off the coast of Maine.
  • Maryland- I owned a home in Cecil County form 2006 to present.  The house is currently on the market.
  • Malaysia- 1994
  • Maldives Islands- 2004- A boat captain picked me up not eh main island and took me to an island that was an hour away.  As he took off, I prayed that he would remember to come get me in four days.
  • Morocco- 2008- I booked this flight and traveled here without any planes, reservations or expectations.  I wanted to see if I still had it in me to travel alone on a big trip.
  • Madison Brewery- VT- I liked it here.
  • Mount Rushmore- SD- I was a little underwhelmed with this monument.
  • "Money changes everything."  The words and wisdom of Cyndi Lauper.
  • Mick Jagger- Rolling Stones- sometimes I like him.  Sometimes, he gives me the creeps.
  • Milk shakes- i like mine to be vanilla and extra thick.
  • Meditation is something that I think would help me but I don’t have the self-discipline to make this part of my daily routine.
  • Mediterranean Sea- 1990- I spent a beautiful, short week in Cinque Terre, along the sea.
  • Manayunk Brewery- PHL- great beers and foods.
  • McGillian's Tavern- the oldest bar in Philadelphia.  My cousin told me about it and I confessed that I had no idea where it was. She gave me the address and that night I dreamed about this place and the next day I went to find it.
  • Manhattan- I always love to go here for the day.
  • MTV- it was groundbreaking in its day but now it does not interest me.
  • McKenzie's Brewery- PA- I like their IPA and Pumpkin beers.
  • Mud Baths- CA- I've done this twice and that is enough.
  • Madras Gras- 1976- OMG, this place can get wild.
    My parents
  • Mexico- I crossed the border in 1978 for the first time in Nagales.  The differences overwhelmed me.
  • Mummers' Parade- Philly- New Year's Day- this parade is an acquired taste.
  • Main Point- PA- a music venue from the 1970s that played singer/songwriters and the place where I developed my musical tastes.
  • M& Ms- I doscvered the carmel ones and that has beena big problem for me.  They are delicios
  • Mispillion River Brewery- DE- this place did not hold my interest.
  • Millennium Park- Chicago- I spent an evening here in September 2006.
  • Munich, Germany- I've been here several times.
  • Monticello- VA- Jefferson was a man ahead of his time.
  • Mona Lisa- Paris- I thought she would be bigger.
  • Morgantown Brewery- WV- yea, it's a nice place to visit for a delicious beer.
  • Merion Mercy Academy- my high school- 1967 - 1973.
  • Mater Misrecordia Academy- the former name of my high school. The name changed at the end of 9th grade.
  • Montreal, Canada- Expo 67- my first trip abroad.
    Maldive Island
  • Mekong River- 2005- we left Viet Nam and crossed in to the Cambodia border.
  • Mongolia- 2006- Gobi Desert, yurts, camel, Naadam Festival, fermented mare's milk. nomads.
  • Musikfest- Bethlehem, PA- a year event that brings great musical acts back to the stage.  Most of the main draws are bands or individuals who have slipped away form the lime light.
  • Marrakesh Markets- Morocco- 2008- I ate some great food here.
  • Moab National Park- a beautiful place.
  • Mississippi River- I crossed this river from Wisconsin to Minnesota and then again from Iowa to Wisconsin and both trips gave me a little thrill.
  • MASH- this was a great TV show that captured every one's heart.
  • My parents- Jackie and Jim Kelly

  • Mountain Toad Brewery- Golden, CO- it was nice but I wouldn't go back there.
  • Memories of a Geisha- a fantastic book
  • Mormon Church- Salt Lake City and Philadelphia- this religion has a lot of rules.
  • Mad Elf Beer- Be Warned: 11% Alcohol- This Beer Is Dangerous.
  • M &  M candy- I used to love this candy.  I would pop a whole handful in my mouth and crunch down on them.  Now I think they are too sweet to eat.
  • Mad Dog 20/20- 1973- the first wine I drank and it was dreadful. I think it was $1/bottle and in hindsight, that was too much to pay.
  • Mountain MuseumMt. Everest Museum- Pokhara, Nepal- November 2017- I have an obsession about Mt. Everest.  I don't know why because i have no desire to climb this mountain.  I don't even want to go to base camp. Even that is a dangerous place.
  • Mansions of Rhode Island- 1973- some people have a lot of money.
  • MoMA- NYC- I've been here several times and I know I still haven't seen most of out.
  • Miners' Festival- Durham, England- 1982- miners are a sad lot.
  • Masai Tribe-Tanzania- February 2016- They jump a lot and really very high.  So when they asked me to join them in a little jumping fun, I had to decline.  I have arthritis in both of my knees and jumping is just too damn painful. And I have reached the age where it is best for me to keep both feet firmly planted on the ground at all times.
  • Miss CoughlinMy Creepy 5th Grade Teacher- Our Lady of Lourdes School- Philadelphia, PA-1965-66
  • Monkeys- I encounter them frequently in my travels and they drive me crazy.
  • Monkees- one of my favorite groups when I was in junior high school.
  • Meryl Streep- one great actress who got ripped off for mot winning Best Actress for Julie and Julia.
  • Movies- I could go to the movies every week.
    A damn monkey.  I hate them.
  • Meat- I like meat but I rarely buy it at the grocery store.
  • Massages- I love them but I prefer facials.
  • Monteleone- my niece's married name. She divorced the guy.  I wish she would change her name back to Kelly.
  • Margaret Watrous- my great aunt, my grandmother's only sister.
  • Margaritas- sometimes I like them frozen and sometimes I like them on the rocks.
  • Mozambique- this place is on my bucket list.
