Our 40th Reunion
Merion Mercy Academy
Merion Station, PA
June 1973- May 2013
There were 50 girls in our class. Three have died. Three could not be found. That left 44 of us who are still alive and kicking. And after I emailed, called, harassed, badgered and cajoled them, 35 of us showed up to at least one of the 3 events we planned for the weekend.
We met for dinner on Friday night. On Saturday, we met at the high school for a dinner as well. Then on Sunday, we wandered in to Philadelphia for brunch.
And when it was all over, we left with a bittersweet realization that too much time has passed and we have lost the opportunity to stay connected. So we vowed to start anew with our friendship. And surprisingly, we have.
