February 3- I slept through the night, something that I haven’t
done in years.
February 4- headed up to State College, PA for a quick visit. Checked in to two of my favorite places: The
Phyrst and the Rath Skeller.
February 5- movie: Fences
February 6- Stroudsburg, PA- dinner with Sue and Darcy.
February 7- lunch with the old Stroudsburg High School faculty
February 8- 242,242 miles on my car. Will I make it to 250,000?
February 9- a day of wild winds; there were a few scary moments.
February 12- starting my train ride across the country. Picked up the train in Baltimore, MD
February 13- arrived in Chicago at 9:30AM
February 14- on to Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Arizona
February 15- traveled from LA to SF. Got in at 7:30PM. What a great
trip.
February 16- CA- Sierra Nevada Brewery; I have wanted to come to
this place for 20 years.
February 17- CA- Lauginitas’s Brewery; facial; mud bath: a very
relaxing day.
February 18- Movie: Lion.
This movie was great.
February 19- HOME
February 20- Women’s Rally in Annapolis, MD
February 23- library meeting
February 24- headed to VA to pick up Clay for our Alaska trip
February 25- two middle school basketball games this afternoon.
Clay’s team won both games..
February 26- headed up to DC to start our trip to Alaska
February 27- first stop: a day layover in Seattle. Spent the day
with Heather and had a great time
February 28- Anchorage, Alaska
