It landed on my knee cap and crawled quickly up my thigh. I directed it on to a piece of cloth and then stuck my finger right in front of it. That caused it to freeze in its tracks. The closer I moved my finger, the more it curled up until it was completely encased in it's shell. A few months after I captured this photo, my local newspaper asked for submission of beautiful sights around the county. I sent in this photo and it was published the next week. I got a lot of comments from people. Most people thought the bug was creepy. I thought it was beautiful.
