For six weeks this summer, we will meet each morning for two hours. There are anywhere from 15 to 30 of us. We start our women’s group each day with prayers and hymns. The women bow their heads and pray in earnest. They face so many challenges that I lose sight of their blessings. I wonder if they think their prayers are being answered as they put their children to bed, day after day, hungry.
