Jameson's Eagle Scout Project

My nephew has been involved in Boy Scouts since he was six. Ive seen him move from Cub Scout to Boy Scout to a potential Eagle Scout. As he was finishing up his project, I think I was more excited than he was. It was his senior year in high school. He was mentally finished with school and anxious to start his career in the Army. I was walking on eggshells and hoping that he had enough tenacity to finish his project. I was torn between leaving him alone and letting him live his own damn life and my need to make sure he did not commit any inaction that would fill him with regret for the rest of his life. I chose the latter path.
He did finish and he let me show up and photograph the whole day.
