Photos of 2025

January- hanging with my high school classmates.  We have been friends for 55+ years.

February- The Eagles won the Superbowl.  What a great victory!!!

March -  On my way home from Florida, I noticed a sign on the road that indicated I was near the original Woolworth Store in Greenville, NC. In the early 1960's, this store was the site of the historical civil rights protest. I have read about this site for years and always marveled at the courage of these black students to stand up to all of the hate and intolerance in the south.

April- Tajikistan - we visited a war memorial and there was a statue that paid tribute to the mothers who buried their young sons who died in war.

May- Uzbekistan- We had dinner in this family's home. Afterwards, they entertained us with all of their musical talent.

June- My apartment was under construction and this was a miserable place to live.

July - Jameson and Rebecca got married in a small church in central Virginia. Afterwards, we all drove an hour to the reception in a state park pavilion where Jameson's friends cooked hamburgers for all of us.

August- I went to several outdoor concerts this summer. At this concert, we listened to a cover band play all of Eric Clapton's music.

September- celebrating our 70th bdays- Kathy and I turned 70 in July. Jane and Helen turned 70 in September. So we celebrated together, in Avalon, NJ.

October- Tunisia- October is a perfect time to hang in the Sahara Desert, just as the sun is setting.

November- Day of the Dead in Mexico. For years, I have wanted to go to this celebration. So when I finally got the opportunity, I jumped on it.  I was in Mexico from Nov 1-6.

December- On Friday (7), I went to Larchmont, NY to see a former student of mine start his career at the head coach of Iona University. On Saturday, Jackie, Quentin and I went for a ride on a horse-drawn wagon. On Sunday, I hung around all day as Jim, Kevin, Danny and Quentin put 9000 light bulbs up for Christmas. GiGi and I hung with them as they worked and the end product was fun to watch.
