    S E     I wasn't sitting next to her nor was she in my line of sight so I can honestly say but those in attendance whom I could see and hear responded positively! It was also cool that Krazy George sent a short drumming video segment. That got out and out laughter and applause! Nice comic relief. Very consistent message on the part of all who spoke---of honesty, helpfulness, commitment, love for Betty and family, love of food and cooking--and beer, love of his work as appraiser, love of helping people. I made this note while his daughter Dr. Heather Ulrich spoke: "Get comfortable being uncomfortable." I hadn't realized that John had been battling some kind of cancer for 13 years! Wow. All the while, uncomplaining and soldiering on. What a guy.
