It was 13 years ago to day that I retired.  That was a lifetime ago. And I've done a lot since then.  

• I taught leadership skills to college women in China, Bangladesh, and Nepal.  
• I ran a Wellness Program in Haiti and started a sewing school there.  
• I have connected with 3,000 of my 10,000 students on social media.
• I have 2300 followers on Facebook.
• I have 1800 followers on LinkedIn.
• I ran for public office: MD State Senate, District 35. 
• I ran for US House of Representatives: MD District 1 for one month 
• I taught for one very long semester at St Joe's University. 
• I sold my two homes.  
• I traveled extensively throughout the country and the world.  At the moment, I have been to all 7 continents, 85 countries and 49 states  
• I completed my 7th continent to visit.  
• I had three surgeries and one lumpectomy.
• I had uterine cancer.
• I had two damn dental implants.
• I went on social security and medicare and I got my senior citizen pass to the national parks and SEPTA buses.
• I attended the DC Women's March in January 2017.  
• I survived Covid. 
• I drove cross country on Route 66. I logged in 6600 miles on this trip.
• I saw Pope Francis in Philly. 
• I officiated 5 secular weddings. 
• I became a blogger. I have 2750 entries in my blog. 
• I snorkeled at the Great Barrier Reef.  
• I climbed the Pyramids in Egypt. 
• I volunteered with the homeless programs in Cecil County. 
• I was a CASA volunteer. 
• I went to the Oktober Fest in Munich, Germany. 
• I went to Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Robert Plant was the main draw.
• I crossed the Panama Canal.
• I've been to Red Rock Amphitheatre a few times.
• I was on the Alumna Board for Semester At Sea.  
• I was President of the Cecil County Democrats Club.  
• I was HRC's Cecil County campaign chair for her presidential campaign.  
• I volunteer for Care.Org. 
• I've worked the election polls for most primary and general elections since 2012.
• I lost 50 pounds but then gained 20 back.
• I volunteer at the Uptown Theatre. 
• I downsized my possessions from two full houses to an 800 sq feet apartment. 
• I walked the Brooklyn Bridge.
• I saw the Sandhill Crane migration in CO.
• I took one nephew on a cross country trip.
• I took my niece on a cruise to the Caribbean,
• I took a nephew on road trips to AK, AZ, SD, ND, UT, GA and CO.
• I went on a family trip with Brian's family to UT.
• I drove my Honda Element until it had 243,000 miles.
• I reached over 1,112,000 hits on my blog. 
• I have over 35,0000 followers on Twitter. 
• I have an Instagram account and I have published 2600 posts of original photography.
• I met President Obama in Washington, DC
• I met President Jimmy Carter and his wife in Plains, GA.
• I moved to West Chester. I have reduced my space to 800 sq feet.  I have no extra storage space or garage or junk stored at someone else's house.
• I was president of the Cecil County Library Foundation Board. 
• I drove many cancer patients to their treatment. 
• I've visited hundreds of breweries around the country and around the world. To date, I have visited 360 breweries.
• I was given the Distinguished Alumni Award by my high school. 

It's been a good 13 years.
