just got a call from this number and was told my credit card had been compromised. When I called my bank to verify this claim, I was told that many people have been called to report this scam.

  I got that call this week as well. I looked the number up on Google and everything was written in a different language. We need to be vigilant.

  I got a call from AT&T the other day about my "replacement device" for my stolen phone. Apparently someone went online 4 days in a row to report my phone stolen, but kept being denied because they can't guess the right numbers for the last 4 of my social. Scumbags!

  I must have gotten that call at least 6 or 7 times at work on Friday. Big pain in the ass!

  Yes I had a text message that said that ... and there was a number to call...

  It happened to my mom and I, too. It asked us to enter our credit card numbers. I smelled a scam right away.
