I Am So Damn Tired Of This Religion

I have had it with Christianity.  I am so damn tired of this ugly religious cult.  

I was raised as a catholic and spent 12 long years in a catholic school.  I never really liked the church and by the age of 12 was working to skip out of Mass every chance I could. 

By college, I was no longer in a battle with my paretns to go to church.  They had surrended. That was a tough fight.

By the age of 21, I was beginning to move away from my brainwashed ideas of abortion and pro-life propaganda. By 25, I was a pro-choice advocate.

By the age of 27, I was slipping away from Christmas celebrations and that was and continues to be a constatnt battle. No one can believe that I loathe christmas and want no part of it.

At the age of 35, I was finally able to tell my paretns that I do not consider myself to be a christian.

At the age of 49, in one of m final conversations about the Catholic Church, I honestly answered my father's question as to why I didnt go to church.  It was a good conversation and it freed me, at last, to be more assertive with others who insist that I am a christian.

I denounce the myth of the Bible. I don't care if Jesus existed or didn't.  His possible existence has no impact on my life.  And all of those bible stories are creepy.

I don't care about any religion.  I am apathetical;  I have complete apathy towards religion.

And today, I am tired of the evangelical religious zealots who are ramming thier terrible ideology on our religous freedoms here in the USA.  I have had it with them.
