SURRENDERING TO THE COLD

Carpenter's Point, MD

October 24, 2013

I might have to surrender today and turn the heat on. My hands are cold. I hate to turn the heat on before nov 1. Its a sign of weakness.

I had to turn the heat on today. It was 30 degrees out and 50 degrees in the house. 🙁

Still holding on. Oil delivery came today. Cried (literally) as I wrote the check. If I think I'm getting cold, I'll remember that moment and put on another sweatshirt! Kids are fine--so that's my main concern 🙂

No one is going to judge you Bridget. There's No shame in needing to be reasonably warm! Turn it on...

BTW, tried the layer route -- worked well for most of my body; however, I didn't have a nose warmer handy...

In 5 days, a year ago was sandy. No heat for 13 days. I would wait for nov 1 no problem this year!
