A kid accidently tripped me.  He charged in to me and I tripped over his ankle. There was nothing I could do to stop the fall.  And it felt as if it took three days for me to hit the ground.  I feel directly on a cement floor and my forehaed took the brunt of the fall.  I immediately grew a huge goose egg.  I hurt the palm of my hand, trying to break the fall.  And I banged up my left knee. And two days later, my eyes turned black and blue.  And three days later, I checked in to the ER because I had so much pain in my chest.  The doctor told me that I had acute muslce trama from the fall.

But, there was no concussion, no broken bones, no cracked head, no broken eyey glasses .  

At my age, I feel lucky because it could have been worse.
