Everyone Is Born Equal
SIAS University

Spring 2012
I taught global leadership skills to college women in China. We focused on ways to implement and achieve the United nations Millennium Goals. When I asked my students, which goal was most important to them, Abigail said the goal to provide universal education was most important. There is her written response:
"(1) Everyone is born to be equal including the right of being educated. (2) Education is very important to improve ourselves and develop the culture all over the world. (3) There's lots of reasons which prevent children from getting more education such as poverty, traditional concepts and so on.
So there is a badly need to make the universe education come true."
