My 45th High School Reunion
Merion Mercy Academy
Merion Station, PA
May 4-6, 2018

I went to an all-girls, private, Catholic high school right outside of Philadelphia.  There were 50 of us in our graduation class. At the moment, four have died, three are among the missing and the rest of them hear from me on a consistent basis as I have been deemed the chief organizer of the class.  It's a job I don't really want but no one else is stepping in and it's not a whole lot of effort so I do it with much complaint.

When we were organizing our 40th, I become an obsessive nut.  I wanted to make sure everyone was included. And we had so much fun that we have continued to stay in touch for the next 5 years.  We get together several times a year and we seem to understand that we have been given a second chance to reconnect and renew friendships.  And for that I am grateful.

As we did for the 40th, we had three events so that we could provide as many opportunities for people to attend.

Friday Night- Hilton @ Penn's Landing

Saturday Night- Merion Mercy Academy

Sunday afternoon- brunch @ Helen Williamson's house

We are just about to embark on a tour of the building.  The young student wants to show us the highlights of the new building.  But we want to go back to the classrooms where we misbehaved and take photos of those immature, fun moments.

One classmate couldn't make it but her sister showed up so she stepped in to the photo.

I am addressing my classmates.  We are giving the school an award in honor of our classmate who just died in the winter.  We will miss Michelle forever.

I am still running on the mouth about the award and they are kindly listening to me.
