Some thoughts and memories and things:
  • Revie- my mother's maiden name.
  • Riley- my maternal grandmother's maiden name
  • Rheimer- my paternal grandmother's maiden name.
  • Ryan Shamus Kelly- my nephew.
  • Rhode Island- Went here with my parents in search of the Great Gatsby movie site in June 1973.  We never found it.
  • Rickie Lee Jones- one of my favorite musicians.
  • Rick Revie- my cousin died in a freak car accident with his 5 year old daughter in 1990.
  • Raspberry Iced Tea- refreshing
  • Relatives- I had 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 aunts and uncles, 6 siblings, 16 nieces and nephews and 17 cousins. That's enough for one person.
  • "Rollin', rollin', rollin',  my big fat ass is swollen":- my favorite line from the City Slickers movie.
  • Ramadan- I couldn't fast fro a month.
  • Right handed- but I can also eat with my left hand.
  • Rocking Chairs- I don't really like them,
  • Red Rocks Amphitheatre- CO- I've been here for two concerts and the venue is as exciting as the performances.
  • Russia- 2013- St. Petersburg- a beautiful city; an ugly government.
  • Roses- I like this flower but it is not my favorite.
  • Raisins- i like them occasionally.
  • Red Licorice- one of my favorites that I don't eat anymore. Damn it.
  • Rice- i just don't like this food.
  • Rice Krispie Treats- OMG, I love them.
  • Reuben Sandwiches- Yes. I like mine warm and with provolone cheese.
  • Rain Forests- Thailand, Australia, Peru- they are magical
  • Road to Recovery- driving cancer patients to treatments.
  • Rosacea- oh, the beauty of pale, Irish skin.
  • R.E.M.- I like a lot of thier music.
  • Rare Earth- I wonder what ever happened to this band
  • Ray Charles- the man has soul.
  • Richard Thompson- he recorded a lot of music that I liked.
  • "Red sky at night, a sailor's delight; red sky at morn', sailors be warned".
  • RSVP- I wonder why we never came up with an English equivalent;
  • Racetrack- DE- 1974- I went here a few times and never left with any winnings.
  • Redwood Forest- CA- I feel so damn small.
  • River Dance- NYC- 1995; PHL 2016- this show was riveting the first time I saw it.  The second time was not as good.
  • Rear-ended- 2009- I was stopped at a red light and I saw the car behind me coming up the road.  The driver wasn't slowing down and sure enough, she rear-ended me and my car was in the damn shop fro a week.
  • RBG-Supreme Court Justice Ruth Badger Ginsburg- I saw the movie and din't realize what a champion she was for women.  Now she is on the top of my Heroes list.
  • Relay for Life- raising money fro cancer research.
  • Resting Buddha- Thailand- 1992- he is massive.
  • Right-winged Conspiracy Theories- I think they are crazy but I see some conspiracy heroes from the left, creeping in my my thoughts.
  • Runaways-NYC- a Broadway play; I loved this play so much that I asked my high school director to produce it at our school.  He thought the play was too edgy.  But I persisted.  Finally, I transferred to another school district and he produced the play and the community loved it.
  • Russian Bath House- PHL- 2015- the place gave me the creeps.
  • Running of the Reindeer- Anchorage AK, 2017- some people do silly things.
  • Rwanda- I want to go here to see the Sliverback Gorillas.
  • Rome, Italy- 1973, 1990, 2001- this is a beautiful city but I prefer Florence.
  • Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice- yes, I just wish it didn't have so much sugar.
  • Rear- ended- I was stopped at a red light and I saw the car behind me.  She wasn't slowing down and she just plowed right in to me.
