I went to visit my friends Jaye and Dom.  They were renting a house for three months and loving every minute of it.  Dom had invited his good friend, Tom,  to join us.  And when I told Tom that I thought this must be "Asshole Buddies" week, he was offended that I called him an asshole. He just didn't seem to understand that I meant this as a compliment.  He is such an asshole.

• We swam in the pool every day.
• There were no expectations to hurry or fill our days with lots of activities.
• No one watched TV.
• I didn't bring my laptop with me on this vacation.
• Dom made a drink of cranberry juice, pineapple juice and coconut rum and it was delicious and too easy to drink.
• Jaye and I went to the Blue Bell Brewery and the beers were delicious.
• We went on a sunset cruise and hung with dolphins, ibis and white pelicans.
• Two burrowing owls were nesting in the neighborhood.
• The other three went for a long walk in the morning.  I slept in.
• We grilled at home one night.
• They also sat in the sun all day.  I sat in the shade.
• We ate at two different seafood restaurants for dinner.
• Jaye and I went to see Three Billboards in Ebbing, Missouri.
• I read Anne Morrow Lindberg's book Gifts From The Sea.
• The guys went to spring training baseball games.  I am glad we didn't have to go with them.Dom had Sweet Water IPA in the refrigerator. And it was a delicious beer.
