Bhutan
December 2017
These fields were everywhere but even in this abundance, my guide tells me that this country does not produce enough rice to meet the demand of the people.  They eat
piles of rice at every meal.
I took photos of these fields all day long.  And when I went back to my hotel room at
the end of the day, I deleted and edited and swore that I would not take any more
photos of the fields the next day.  But  I did.  I took photos every day because I was mesmerize by the patterns.
One day, we walked through the fields and I was nervous about stepping the wrong
place and damaging a patch of rice.
