Movies 2017

Movies 2017

I love to go to the movies.  I particularly love to go to matinee movies.  I could go to the movies once a week.  A few months ago, I became a member of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute and I started going to more movies.  This year (2018) , I hope to go to 25 movies.  Lat year I saw:

  • Hidden Figures- we need more movies about heroes who are women.
  • Patriot Day- WOW, those police are a force  of good.
  • Fences- I was so angry with Denzel Washington's character.
  • Lion- This movie filled me with so much damn emotion (happy and sad)
  • I'm Not your Nigga- I want to see this movie again but I want to stop and start it so I can comprehend all that he has to say.
  • Keo- a stupid cat movie.
  • A Sense of  Ending- I don't even remember this movie.
  • United Kingdom- tackling race issues takes lots of courage.
  • Beauty and the Beast- I loved this movie.
  • Van Gogh movie- van Gogh was a troubled soul.
  • Lost in Paris- funny and quirky
  • The Swim Team- this coach deserves a medal of some sort.
  • Trip to Spain- I didn't like it.
  • Tomorrow- a movie about the future and the world and it has a positive spin.
  • The Viceroy's House- England really fucked up in the transition of power to India
  • Loving Vincent- this movie was spectacular cinema.
  • Who Stole the Mona Lisa- funny.
  • Maudie- I loved this movie
  • Get Out - I didn't like this movie at all.
  • Marshall- I've like to read more about Justice Marshall now.
