Vita, One of My Chinese Students

Spring Semester 2012

After teaching at a Chinese university for a semester, I was ready to go home. Within the first month of my return from China, my students wrote to me on a continuous basis.  I loved hearing from them.  Even with their limited English, they conveyed a gratitude and respect that I didn’t deserve.  And everything I heard from them, I wanted to pack my bags and go right back there.

First letter- Hello Briget long time no see, everything goes well? We will graduate from the World Academy for the Future of Women. Today I want to say thank you to you. Your enthusiasm, your bold have a great effect on me. Your encouragement drives me to have the courage to speak English out. And you are the first teacher to do that.
